The NMEA CMET Working Group is developing a study course curriculum with the goal of providing assistance to areas of weaknesses of a candidate into order for the candidate to increase their knowledge of a subject matter they may be particularly challenged with. 

In addition, the NMEA CMET Working Group will be creating highly advanced specialty categories above and beyond the CMET.  For instance, you could become a CMET with a specialty in Radar, Autopilots and Sat Com.
