CMET, ABYC ELECTRICAN

Job Requirements:

Job tasks include: Install, service and repair electronic equipment on board pleasue crafts. Test, adjust and troubleshoot equipment components, PCBs, sub-assemblies, and antennas. Load, update, and modify software. Work from wiring diagrams, equipment drawings, schematics and/or manufacturer’s manuals. Layout, supervise, and assist in equipment installations. Prepare detailed service reports. Maintain tools, test equipment, etc. Generally operate in the field. Work under general supervision referring questionable or unusual cases to supervisor. Types of equipment serviced: Radars,Chartplotters,HF and VHF Radios · GPS · Gyrocompasses · Autopilots · Sounders, Satelite antennas, vessel security systems, and computer systems. Job Requirements:

Licenses required: CMET license, Computer A+, ABYC Electrician.

Trainees considered with sufficient on hands experience. Must certify within 6 months.
