Technical Sales Account Manager

Job Location: Milford, NH, United States

Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive, self-starter who wants to challenge and be challenged in a dynamic company. You must have four to six years related work history and proven professional sales success. A bachelor's degree is required, marine industry experience and/or knowledge is strongly preferred along with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Superior interpersonal telephone etiquette and an ability to deal effectively with customers, vendors, peers and management is a must. You will need to gain a solid understanding general knowledge of all company products, and/or services coupled with working knowledge of the day to day operating environment, product capabilities and customer applications.

We require individuals that can demonstrate a high level of both phone and email contact interface with customers including, but not limited to, providing price quotes, processing orders, interfacing with key departments to ensure timely delivery of product, forecasting sales, RMA coordination and new product introductions.

The successful candidate must hold themselves to the highest personal standards with strong problem solving skills and inherent decision making ability. This may be demonstrated by identifying and evaluating market potential and trends by generating new customer accounts and new business opportunities.

Additional responsibilities may include but are not limited to, creating proposals for the Marketing Manager by detailing sales potential and gross margin projections, defining new product requirements, and participating with project managers in the development of new products

You may be asked to take escalated calls of a difficult nature to resolve complex customer technical issues and/or refer to higher level of expertise. An occasional travel to customer sites to assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
