Field Technician

Locations: Oklahoma, North Texas, North Louisiana, South Louisiana, West Virginia, Arkansas and Colorado

Job Description: To provide quality installations and technical support for all equipment leased or purchased for use offshore in the GOM and various locations on land. This position requires land and offshore travel, frequent overnight stays and the ability to problem solve in pressure situations. The Field Technician will directly report to the Field Operations Manager at the corporate office in Breaux Bridge, LA.

Salary dependent upon experience. This position requires the successful completion of a pre-employment background check, including driving history, and a drug screen. DTS provides a competitive salary. This is a full-time, fully benefited position.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications: A two-year Associate’s Degree or a minimum of one year experience in the electronics or communications field is required. Candidate should have experience with the installation and maintenance of fixed and stabilized VSAT terminals, Two-way radio, and possess a strong knowledge of telecom products and general telecom fundamentals. The individual must be computer literate, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products and posses outstanding customer care, oral and written communications skills.
