Job Description:

Job tasks include: Install, service and repair electronic equipment on board ships. Test, adjust and troubleshoot equipment components, PCBs, sub-assemblies, and antennas. Load, update, and modify software. Work from wiring diagrams, equipment drawings, schematics and/or manufacturer’s manuals. Layout, supervise, and assist in equipment installations. Prepare detailed service reports. Maintain tools, test equipment, etc. Generally operate in the field. Work under general supervision referring questionable or unusual cases to supervisor. Job Requirements:

Licenses required: FCC license with radar endorsement. GMDSS Radio Operator Maintainer license Military training a plus. Vocational school a plus.
